Classic string system

Classic cord mechanism for Roman blinds

The Classic cord system (Spanish System) is characterised by:

• high quality workmanship and at the same time low price;

• simple shape of the aluminium profile, which is the base of the whole system;

• easy assembly to the wall, ceiling or window frame (invasive assembly).

In the cord Classic system, a cord on the left or right side (optional) is used to raise the roller blind. This system is intended for smaller, shorter roller blinds made of light fabrics.

The aluminium rail is equipped with a blocking mechanism and cord guiding loops placed at appropriate distances from each other (the number of loops depends on the size of the roller blind).

Thanks to the hard Velcro on the profile, you can easily attach the fabric with the soft Velcro, making it easier to remove the roller blind, e.g. for washing.

The CLASSIC STRING MECHANISM consists of:

• aluminium rail with hard Velcro armed with a locking mechanism and cord guiding guides.

• soft Velcro

• string for pulling up the roller blind (at the height of 300 cm)

• end pieces

• transparent fabric weight

• wooden cord weight

• invasive mounting brackets (non-invasive hangers cannot be used for the Classic system)

• set of grommets - optional

• transparent whalebone - optional (on request, we can replace the transparent whalebone with fibreglass whalebone)

The number of grommets depends on the width of the mechanism. The standard is:

from 50 cm to 100 cm - 2 vias, from 101 to 140 cm - 3 vias, from 141 cm to 160 cm - 4 vias, from 161 cm to 200 cm - 5 vias.

We manufacture mechanisms of any width.

PURCHASE INSTRUCTIONS FOR NON-STANDARD WIDTH MECHANISMS :

For a non-standard width mechanism, the price applies as for the longer mechanism from the drop down table of dimensions. E.g. if you wish to order a complete Roman blind system 143 cm wide, select 150 cm in the drop down menu and then write in the basket in the order notes: 143 cm. The system will be cut to the correct width.
